i must admit this its true in my own personal experience and same goes to my friends

one time i had an argument with one of my friend who said "THAT NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS NO MATTER WHERE WE HAVE BEEN AS YEARS GOES BY AS WE AGED WE STILL WANT TO GO BACK AND TASTE THE LOCAL FLAVOR" which can be absolutely true in a sense but then in her own point of view shes a big fan of local guys which in contrast to what i like for real and some other of my friend i still have to admit i still have sex or have casual encounter with a local guys occasionally cause its what i see everyday in my life and some guys are there and dont wanna miss to be with a pretty and sexy girl no matter is shes a tgirl or a genetic girl

but then i myself at this certain age of 25 ive been with lots of local guys or asians alike in my life during my teenage days till now but most of them are just casual sex one night stands and never been involve with a relationship with one..........i must say ive been with different man with different color and different nationality...i can say im one delegate of united nation hahahhaah in my experience dealing with local guys its most likely i dont feel the passion while being with them sexually or in companionship i can feel the awkwardness same with them to me as i started to date western man from europe and america and also australian or south american which is most likely the caucasian race and the hispanic i was intimidated at first i meet them tru chatting on the net and suddenly decided we need to have some acquaintance cause in all my life i love the local flavor......but then in a very consecutive moment that i was dating western man or foreigners i started to love them their color, their taste, their body, their language, their accent, its something i was missing and i wanted to have in my dinner table so my taste buds has change and most likely i discover and love them cause theyre mind is more advanced, more liberated and more open minded both sexually and their treatment towards us.....so over all theyre all fixed minded and most of them know what they really wanted.....which i love in western guys i felt like a goddess to them its something that i didnt felt when i was still fancying local guys............ive been in a relationship with one guy from scandanavia before and we end up living together in europe together though it was short but we fell in love and life is so sweet from sickness and in health so everything was great and with that i learn and know what i really wanted in life in part of looking for a relationship.... yes the good benifits from it as well is if you have western man with you of course your being spoiled by your man they save you from poverty and provide you with your need and wants which is a very huge difference from local guys ive been with i must admit the currency difference is huge cause most western man who comes in asia are donald trump here while in their home country they struggle to work and live

love has no color no race no gender no social status

in reality most local guys are close minded and the only reason why they date ts girls cause theyre horny and its a substitute for girls its like honey over sugar for sweetening the coffee but then non of them are really wanna serious and most man treat us as gay man dressing as a woman the more feminine and the more pretty we can be in their own standards the most likely they hit one thing as well they hate seeing our penis and they prefer to have sex with us in the dark were no one can see and notice and no friends and neighbors can make an issue out of it so local guys still have the machismo in them that its hard for us to please them

cause in the first place it wont sell and if they do but its most likely good for tourist who are tranny hunters and yes there is tourist but its not we all rely in our economy.........and big LOCAL VIP wont even go inside cause its not their thing if you come to think of it a lot of local rich so called HETERO guys still goes to go go bars and barfine woman but its its a TG I dont think its most likely to happen

Well, i am an American man who is seaking a filippina so i cannot answer this from my perspective..but in my opinion it is because local men in Philippines do not see ladyboys as a wonderful person of the "third sex"..and they therefore do not respect them as this,and see there beauty as a trick,or an illusion.
and most philppina ladyboy now this,and can tell when a foreign man like myself appreciates them,as much as he would a woman...and in my case more than a woman

Many asian tgs go for foreign men for financial reasons. In most cases it would start there. SOme relationship eventually evolve into something deeper,much more committed while some remain shallow and just purely out of financial reasons.

There are also some who hopes for true love. In the Philippines where TGs are viewed gays, it can be difficult to find ones true love especially that men are being view patriarchal/masculine. Somehow, being with a TG(or GAYS as how many would refer to) is just less masculine. If a guys does go out with a TG the relationship may be discreet or maybe because of attachements(financial or emotional) not really becuase of love.

We just want to be treated as women. Unfortunately due to poor upbringing, lack of education and culture, many asian men sees us as GAYS not as women. Many sees us strange and even get homophobic.

But agree on pretty much all your points. Especially the fallacy of TG girls being 'gay'. That's ridiculous if one knows anything about transgenderism. How can someone who is a female in mind, heart and soul be gay? Indeed, how can anyone who is attracted someone who is a female in all but biology be gay...?

hahahahahaha for me if you just LOVE someone, you definitely get blinded with all the consequences. For me, to marry a western guy is not a matter of relocating or because of money, but to find and have a perfect relationship that I can't find it here in our own country- the wonderful Philippines. Yes we are filled with glorious scenic attraction, yet, TG/LB/tgirl here is not that being respected and treated the way we want, and I think I can find it in western people, where there is an equal "treatment" for everybody. irregardless of what you are, and who you are. Just like any normal men and fem- we also a human, has the heart that beats, feelings that easily melted once hurt, and most especially a gift of life that we have to cherish without any restrictions.

Well, I think, in general you are right in all of your points.
However from my point of view, there is no "Asian TS", as culture, society and self-conception are different in the different asian countries.

When I had a (unfortunately short) relationship with a t-girl in Cebu, I was really astonished about the suppression of t-girls there, far more extreme than in Thailand. So holding hands with her or giving her a kiss was for me quite natural, but for her something special. She was so beautiful that everyone thought her to be a girl. However, in a certain location, it became clear to everyone there (because of her gay and tg friends) that she was a t-girl - for the rest of that evening there she was really afraid, to be touched and kissed as normally, because of possible bad reactions from the "normal" people. I am aware, that there is a considerable discrimination to t-girls in Thailand, but it seems to me far less than in PH. The degree of tolerance seems to be different - perhaps because buddhism is more tolerating then catholizism. At least I saw several times t-girls with thai men, which I haven't ever seen in PH.

What was also irritating to me: that so many t-girls in Philippines call themselves "gay", as long as they are pre-op, perhaps influenced by the general picture in society- whereas I did not have the feeling, that t-girls in Thailand see themselves as gay. Seeing myself still as a staight guy, that was sometimes reeeeally irritating for me, when her friends called themselves gay
