I was born as a boy but all my life since I was a child I felt that I'm girl...

I first identified with being a girl at age 4. By age 5, I was wearing my mothers clothes whenever I was home alone.

I have five elder sisters in Brazil, so I have been the only boy at home and all my sisters have spoiled me and have played with me when I was a little child. I remember, when I was 2 or 3 y/o, my elder sisters dressed me up in girls clothes sometimes. They made that just for fun and we always played with dolls. I have liked to be the focus of attention for my elder sisters and also I have liked wearing girls clothes because I never had thought that is abnormally when they dressed me up like their sixth little sister.
Later then, when I was about 4 y/o, I remember that I sometimes had a bath together with one of my sisters in the bath-tub. And there I saw their genitals and have been wondering that all my sister looked different than me. I always wanted to look like them too. I also wanted to have long hair, 2 titties and a pussy. I didn't want to have my penis. So maybe this time with my sisters was the trigger that I wanted to be a girl. I don't know exactly but maybe it is one reason.
Then when I was older, about 11-12 y/o, I tried to wear clothes from my sisters on many occasions. But only at home of course, because I didn't felt confident enough to go on the street in that clothes. With age of 14-15 I went out in girls clothes for the first time and I noticed that I gave no offence to anybody when I appeared as girl. At this moment I realized, ok that is it, now I want to live as girl... now I live as a woman and I'm so happy. :)

I hear a lot of stories about how boys have wished they were girls since a young age, but I never had that experience.

My desire to be female first began when I hit puberty. I found myself sexually attracted to other boys, and for the longest time I thought I was just gay. However, I became more and more enamored with the female gender, more in an envious sense rather than a sexual one. My first transsexual thought was when I fantasized about becoming the wild biker girl Vicky from Rose Is Rose. Of course, I suppressed these feelings until my college years. When I finally began exploring them, I realized that I had been trapped in the wrong gender since puberty, and have since began the process of changing myself. Of course, I no longer find men attractive, but that's another matter...

Sometimes I worry that because my transsexual feelings were so late in materializing, they are not actually legitimate. However, I soon realize that I can't deny my true feelings, not matter how I may have repressed them in my teen years. I'm a girl, through and through, just trapped in the wrong body. Therefore, I believe that although many transsexuals begin changing during their childhood, a man of any age has the potential to become a transwoman. All it requires is a strong feminine side and a willingness to explore with an open mind.
