hi loving soul..i want to know about your experience in spironolactone.. when i ask about spironolactone in pharmacy they say: is used to treat high blood pressure,,lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks and kidney problems,,it is also used to treat swelling (edema) caused by certain conditions(e.g., congestive heart failure) by removing excess fluid and removing excess fluid and improving symptoms such as breathing problems, this medication is also used to treat low potassium levels and conditions in which the body is mixing too much of a natural chemical(aldosterone)..spiranolactone is know as "water pill" (potassium-sparing diuretic).
how do u feel when u are taking them?is it really effective?coz my problem is mustache and beard,,,i hope you can help me with this..thank you so much..

Hi Joyce, found this, The drug most commonly used for the task of diminishing one's response to androgens is spironolactone (branded as Aldactone). Like many other drugs in the category of anti-androgen, spironolactone is used other than for its primary or generally intended purpose. In the case of spironolactone, it is a diuretic and anti-hypertensive medication. Spironolactone is a good choice for an anti-androgen. It is generally well tolerated, even when administered over a period of years. And when by happenstance, a mildly hypertensive patient enters into transgender treatment, often spironolactone can be provided as a substitute; by doing so, the medication now serves a dual purpose. While spironolactone is a potassium saving diuretic, the normal monitoring of blood chemistry during transgender treatment assures its safe administration. Patients often report increased unpleasant side effects (such as a need for frequent urination) when doses over 300mg per day are taken. Typically doses of 200mg daily or less are well tolerated. taken from http://www.inhousepharmacy-europe.com/t ... one-t.html

I started with spiro for about a year and change to androcur.. difference, hmmm.. same function to block testosterone but androcur more stronger.. I seen my tgirl friend started with androcur, from masculine frame change more feminine quite fast.. body shapes more smooth, no mass muscles - more lean.. quite a big different.. as for my own experience, I didnt see much, but big different on mascules defination, more feminine.. i seen tgirl took androcur and spiro, I could say one who took androcur more passable.. Not sure tho maybe they born to be passable before androcur.. oh since androcur much stronger, there might be erection disfuntion or hard to maintain erection ..
