I agree that in some cases breast implants are a wonderful idea, and from what I've seen, Thailand is definitely the best place to go. Frankly, the doctors in Thailand ultimately have more experience, as they see many more patients than their Western counterparts.

I guess I'm a bit wary of recommending them as I also get to see the results of mistakes at work.

I'd avoid flying shortly after any surgery. Give it a week or so of rest afterwards. No, it's not because they'll burst, but blood clots may slip, flowing around loose in your bloodstream possibly causing a stroke or a heart attack in an otherwise healthy person.

cheers,
Tony

It's interesting that this is one area where TS/TG have considerable control, being able to reduce hormone intake when the desired size is reached. One of the younger female members of my family has gone from flat chested to a G cup in about 18 months. She likes having them, but the boys at her high school are a little too interested in them, and not her. It also makes sport very difficult, and she's been getting back pains.

I agree Anthony, in some circumstances, implants are a wonderful idea, but as a general rule, I have reservations about them, especially if hormones can provide a natural breast. In your friend's case, (her own) hormones obviously had little effect on her, so an implant is a viable option. I too have seen people fill with self confidence after breast augmentation, or other plastic surgery. It's so wonderful to see that smile. :)

cheers,
Tony

Um... Natural!... Unless there is a bad side effect like aussienightnurse mentioned. I didn't know there were problems... and I guess for some it wouldn't be a problem, but others might still want function... and maybe loss of cunstion dosen't always happen... I don't know... I'm talking about something I don't know about, so maybe I shouldn't pick one... but first impulse says natural :D

we should always remember to check the background and credibility of the surgeon and it doesnt mean that if it's done in Thailand that one will have a desirable result/outcome.

ive seen so many thai girls with funny breasts..so I cannot really agree with that.
and breast implants used by surgeons varies from which country it is manufactured, usually China is cheaper.better to check the pics of the doctor's patients, they usually keep in their clinic.or check testimonials on their websites and ask the Surgeon if he can provide u with a number u can call to have more understanding of how he/she does the operation and how pleasing the result was.it is better be sure than sorry.

regular cost is around $3100(brand from US) for my 375cc implants, done in Manila
ive heard it's about $1400(brand from China) for her 700cc implants, done in thailand

Hi lovingsoul

I have a doubt that it's a real collagen used because collagen in the first place is very much expensive. I remember my surgeon telling me about how expensive collagen is if i'll have them injected in my hips. most girls from here-esp. those who can't afforf breast implant, would settle for these injections and I have heard it cost cheaper than the implants but after a year/few years it starts to get lumpy red and painful, worst effects are respiratory problems.

hiya lovingsoul

yes,good for you.
I believe that the transition period doesn't happen overnight so we have to know that it takes time for the female hormones to have it's effect on a man's body not unless the tgirl starts at 13 or 14.
Better to take it slowly but surely...
I had my breast implant after 4 months of hormone therapy.
I was using Diane-35 and Yasmin that time with Progynon-depot injectable estrogen.
Sometimes it's really hard to acquire the injectable hormones and starting at college years means I was always out of budget(good to know there could be someone to support the tgirl on her transition stage financially).

thanks for the info anyway...

see yah
Kimmy :)
