Gives us something to snuggle into on a cold night, plus most men like to watch it move as you girls walk in front of us. :D

yes, you boys seem to like us on cold nights. My Iranian friend was reminded of that when it snowed in Athens recently.

I jumped on the scales this morning and I have now lost 20 kilos since November. Feeling kind of pleased with myself.

By now I guess you've started your new job! How's it going? What is a "bludge job?" Hope you're happy! Keep your sight focused on your goals (surgery and travel), and maybe working with your dad won't be so bad.

Oh, and by the way, from your photo, it sure doesn't look like you need to lose any more weight. :)

Thanks Joie, I haven't started the new job yet. Taking longer to get going that originally planned. We have had a wet summer in our part of Australia and that is holding things up. 'bludge' means slack. In other words it would be an easy job not requiring much effort. Thank you for the comment about not needing to loose weight but I am actually only half way. I am now 114 Kg and I want to get to around 85-90Kg. I always liked the thought of being a little chubby. Most men I end up meeting seem to like a bit of meet on their bones. I look at skinny women and don't find it appealing. My sister is very thing (she looks a lot like Celine Dion) and I am in no way jealous. I always like the women in classical painting who were a little chubby and had fair skin. I could never identify with the supermodel looks - it didn't match my image of myself. I sometimes feel out of place because of the that. I always had the feeling of being born in the wrong time.

Hi lovingsoul, thank you. Yes, I am worried about sagging skin but if it means choosing between being obese and having sagging skin I will choose the later. Having said that, I am anticipating needing a tummy tuck. I have also found out about a new laser treatment that helps with sagging skin. I may get that on my face and kneck and maybe my tummy.

I am looking forward to loosing more weight.

Beautiful painting, thanks for posting the link. Yes, I agree that the Renascence Era women are quite gorgeous. They have the classical looks that will stand true through the ages. The anorexic look of women in the magazines today won't be considered beautiful through time. Really, it is just a trend; that never stands up to classic beauty.
