M, you DON'T look like a truckie in drag!

Thank you, but I definately feel like one some days. I know it's psychological though.

You do mention Greece a fair bit...hehehe. I think you fell in love with Greece like I did with Germany.

That about sums it up. I love the place. Very different from Australia. I feel good about myself in Greece although the tourist ghettos arn't very nice. I try and steer clear of those. I also seem to meet some very nice men. On my last trip I met a nice Iranian man who I am still in contact with. He is thinking of coming here for a visit.

You can talk about anything here, even your pubic hair going soft. (Thought about removing it entirely?)

Yes, but for now I have other more pressing hair removal goals. My face is close being 'done'. I only have blonde hair or a few dark hairs resistant to the laser. I am thinking of having these done with electrolysis. My top lip is a bit resistant too. I seem to have the under control. I am actually having that done again this morning.

As for me, I'm covered in dense red hair, inherited from my Dad, so I'd make about the least passable TS imaginable...my beard and moustache wouldn't help either! :)

I only see body hair an issue when it is on women. :)

Glad you got your Estrofem...it'll help untwist the knickers. So straight from the GP to the pharmacy? :)

Yes, knickers noticeably looser, although it is now a long ride back to total passability. Fingers crossed.

Have a great weekend, M. I'll think of you as I have a souvlaki tonight.

 SOUVLAKI! I live on that when I am in Greece. My one daily meal was a souvlaki and diet coke.

Have a good weekend.

You would have to be one of the most feminine looking truckies then that I have seen in my many years on this strange planet of ours.

Thank you. Yes, it is natural. Ironically, I get my thick curly hair from Dad not Mum. Mum has very fine, straight hair. However, I get my skin from Mum. She is English and has what is known as an 'english rose' complexion- a natural 'peaches and cream' skin tone. I am very lucky to have inherited it. (I am not wearing make-up in that photo.) That is why I am fanatical about skin care.

The only draw back about my hair is that it is very difficult to manage. It gets frizzy very easily. I have recently discovered a couple of new products to help manage this.

Hi,

funnily enough, when I was 18, I dated a 24 year old female truckie! She was the most feminine girl you could imagine, particularly given her occupation. Should have seen her drive! She used to wear stockings and suspenders while driving sometimes. She joked they got her out of a lot of fines! It was very interesting to see her climb down from a big rig in a short skirt and stockings.

Mame, looks like you've got a few admirers here! Was that photo taken during the glitch with your hormones, or before? One thing I find interesting is how many member here are willing to have a pic of themselves as their avatar. Just another of the things I like about this place.

Tony

I took that photo myself about a week ago. I just uploaded it last night (after posting). I think I am wearing make-up in that photo. I changed my old avatar because I had noticeably lost weight since taking that photo. I am even wearing the same top in both avatar's! (my favourite top).

Yes, this forum is exceptionally friendly. That is why I put my photo up. I am very self conscious and I am not really fond of the way I look so even surprised myself when I did it.

Transexuals are usually so cautious about other transexuals. I havn't seen that here. Transexuals are not 'pack animals'. I think that is why it can be a lonely lifestyle which scares me. I have only ever wanted one thing since I was a teenager, to have my own family. I don't mean kids. My own family all disowned me to various degrees when I went on hormones so it became especially important. I always had a hunch when I was a kid my family would disapprove of me at some stage because I knew I was different.

M.

I forgot how good it feels to have estrogen pumping through my body. I am already feeling better internally. I know it will be a lot longer to see the physical results.

I must admit I am actually taking both lots of hormones together. I have my appointment next week with the specialist so I am hoping he will put me on a proper dosage then. I just couldn't bring myself to stop taking the others. I have had some good results because of the cyproterone.

I am feeling very clingy and a little weepy at the moment. Desperate for a hug. Little things making me cry. I broke down and sobbed the other night - the stress of the last month finally caught up with me - Mum being sick, Dad spending a lot of time at my house because of his work(very stressful) and my hormone problems (my mind went to some very dark places over that).

Mame, just looking at your avatar photo, my first impression is how feminine you actually look. Probably why so many people keep referring to you as a girl without thinking.

On a personal front, I hope all gets better with your family, I know how devastating it can be when a close family member gets very sick and ultimately you lose that person from your life.

Thank you. Mum is getting better although we nearly lost her. Mum smoked for 40 years and has had poor health for many years. As such, I hate smoking!

Mame.
