Hi Joyce,

No, after two years your can't stop hormones. You must continue to take your hormones for life otherwise your body will try and revert back to male.

If however you have had SRS, you can take a lower dosage but you will still need to take them.

The healing process for srs is quite long. It is major surgery. You will not be able to do heavy lifting for many weeks. You will not be able to have sex for at least 6-8weeks including anal sex. You will also have to dilate for the rest of your life. This involves inserting a dilator (like a glass dildo) into your neo-vagina regularly to make sure is is kept open. It is an artificial hole and will try to close if you don't. Having sex is not enough as a penis will not strecth the vagina to its natural limit.

There is plenty of information online regarding post-operative care for srs.

Dilators: http://www.pai.co.th/dilator/index.asp
Surgery: http://www.tmeltzer.com/procedures/mtf.shtml (Note, I am not recommending this doctor, but it is just an example of the procedure.)

Lots more on Google. :)

Kind regards,
Mame du Bois

Hi Joyce, it is way too early to notice changes in your hips. It is a slow buy sure process. Remember, it takes years for a teenage girl to become a woman. It will also depend on your genetics. Remember, a watched pot never boils!

The two main operations I know of that emphasise your hips is the removal of ribs which enhances the waist line.

The other way is to have body contouring which involves lipsuction and/or fat transfer. If you need it they transfer fat from one area of your body and implant it into your backside. They also remove fat from around your waist.

I don't know about cost as I haven't really looked into it and I am sure it would cost less in Asia anyway.

I have heard of butt implants the same way men get pectoral implants but I think body contouring has superseded this.

I am personally not planning on srs in the near future, if ever. I would rather spend the money on facial feminising procedures like cheekbone implants and lipo. (If I was going to do anything at all.)

Good luck.
