I'm Sarah, an 18-year-old transgirl who's actually just starting with therapy (I've had one meeting so far, my next is June 5). So, no transitioning or SRS... Anyway, nice to meet everyone. I like to read and write, poetry and fiction being what I write most, and I'm used to be called an abomination and a freak by now. As much of a downer as that is. I'm also depressed because of my problem... Oh well. At least I pass without barely even trying, and I haven't gone through with anything yet. But now I'm rambling... Again, nice to meet all of you, I know you'll all be friendly and help me in any way you can. ^^

Hello Sarah,
It's interesting to me to see someone meditate transition at your age. I can understand how you must feel, and you're making a big step. It's wonderful for me, because I can see how much potential you have to become feminine. I think that if this is the right course for you, then you are in a good place. I hope that everything works out OK with your first visits.

For being able to take the bashing as well as you do and still be steadfast on your personal choices that you believe in, you have my respect. It is unfortunate that you are depressed or can be, but please take comfort in knowing that now in addition to the friends you already had, you now have all of us. Congradualtions with your first steps, and I wish you all the best in your up an coming.
You mentioned creative writing an poetry... do you use them as an outlet ever? Also, Would you ever consider sharing any of your work with us? If you don't feel like sharing with everybody it's cool... you can still show just me if you send me a message HAHA!

Hello Sarah and welcome. I'm sorry about your taunts, no human is an abomination. I'm also recovering from depression so I know what that road can be like. On a lighter note, I'm also a big writer so let me know if you ever want to talk poetry or anything else for that matter.
I hope you find what you are looking for.

Welcome Sarah, Not sure what advice or support an antique like me can offer...but I can say the life you aspire to can have its rewards...challenges no doubt, but rewards as well. I have done some writing myself and have so far published two books. One was even a best seller in Canada a few years ago. That first book was about a difficult perod in my life...I had kept journals and when I was ready, turned it into a book manuscript. Had publishers begging to print it. I never wrote it to make money...but it was good for me to write it all down. The point is...writing can be an amazing way to express what you are going through and can be a great help...now and in days ahead. Best of luck...

hello Sarah cel....
i'll say welcome aboard, however i'm alot younger in this forum than you.
do what you feel is right and be who you want to be. If there are people who hate on you do not go around them. stay where people can be positive and supportive. I'm usually a bit meloncholy myself; so, i try to keep the few friends that are supportive close to me. everyone else can F$%^ OFF. you seem pretty determined to be who you want to be, good luck. stay positive.
