Glad I'm not the only one seeing that sort of trend in young women

One of the women I was talking about works for Centrelink, and sees a couple of supposedly TG in the process of transitioning, but look and act like gay men in women's clothes trying to stooge the government.

A lot of men (including genuine TS just starting out) often have a distorted view of what it means to be a woman. It is also a defense mechanism which is why some gay men are excessively camp. They use their sexuality as a deterrent from people (usually men) who may hurt them.

It is difficult to judge if someone is genuine just by looking at them. Let's face, there are some post-op transsexuals around who look like 100% men. I met one post-op TS who would put jeans and sneakers on to go and buy the paper intentionally taking a male persona just to avoid any animosity. I can kind of understand that - it can be incredibly defacing to cop abuse from people. The point is, she will never look like a woman. This is not uncommon in transsexuals who are a lot older when they start transitioning.

We don't choose our genetics and surgery to fix these things is incredibly expensive. We don't all look like Candis Cayne. Maybe you could point this out to your friend.

To get any real kind of benefit from Centrelink requires an extensive review process. Psychiatrist reports, independent government psychiatrist, social worker etc. It would take a particularly clever person to get around an experienced psychiatrist.

Regarding young women in Australia: In the last couple of years, my opinion of women had gone down significantly. If a man doesn't like you, he will call you a faggot and walk off. Rarely, violence occurs. Women however will be nice to your face and tear shreds off you and ridicule you behind your back. They are also increasingly becoming engaged in ridicule of people to peoples face. I sat in a cafe the other night and had one such darling try and take a photo of me with her mobile phone. She was pretending to show her friend something on the phone while manoeuvring herself to take a photo of me. This and the snickering and laughing that continued for over an hour. You have no idea how that made me feel. It was pride (and not wanting to annoy my friends) that stopped me from moving tables. I am already spending more time at home because of this kind of behaviour.

I think I now understand why I have avoided female friends - they tend to be very borish, toxic and patronising.

My salvation at the moment is that I am having facial surgery in late September early October. I have most of the money for the surgery and just need the airfares and hotels to Thailand. I hope it grants me some more privacy.

M.

They seem to take their cue more and more from the "Good Ol' US of A", and the me, me, me attitude that is portrayed on film and TV.

As for my Centrelink friend, she was actaully disgusted with one of the TG's who turned up for an interview at the office in a "not very hygienic" condition. She mentioned something about fluids running down her legs. Not a glowing endorsement for TG's everywhere to display.

Yes, but anyone who takes this as being representative of the TS community is usually already leaning towards a negative view in the first place.

And yet she is so tolerant of gays and lesbians, although these days she is less accepting of asians - due mostly to the ones she encounters on a day-to-day basis at her job.

Just have to keep at her that the vast majority of TG's are not like that at all.

I love that word - tolerance. It has a sense of 'putting up with'. You either accept homosexuality and transsexuality as part of the diversity of the human species or you don't. :) At the end of the day, it is no different to short, tall, brunette,black or blonde hair, blue, brown, green, grey eyes, black, brown, white skin etc.

I never had a gay at my side as bf. Think, gays dont like TS. All men I have met and was with have been straight, anyway I think so. So I think, men you feel attracted to TS are straight.

I am going to write something that will get me in trouble...because it comes from the part of a man's brain that can be sexist and crude...but as a straight man who finds a feminine TS very attractive, I can see a number of advantages over genetic girls:
1) TS girls can often be more feminine and sexy than g-girls;
2) Their sex drive often matches a man's;
3) They don't have PMS;
4) You dont have to worry about getting a TS girl pregnant;
5) The anal sex....my favorite;
6) I dont have that much experience, but find a TS girl genuinely appreciates having a rugged, masculine BF who will protect her and adore her...much more than g-girls who often seem to feel that it is a natural entitlement.

So, it is hardly surprising to me that a growing number of straight men are beginning to appreciate TS girls without compromising their sexual orientation...and genetic girls maybe be getting nervous!

I agree with most of those. The only thing is, the hormones make me want sex less. It is only after taking my hormone injections that I get randy now. However, I really like sex still and could happily make love with a man I cared about everynight. Of course that is not practicle or even desirable (the novelty would wear off eventually) but that is where imagination comes into keeping the spice in a relationship. A genuine love and respect for each other can be all that is needed to keep the momentum.

I am guessing most genetic girls don't do anal? A lot of guys like the anal aspect of being with a ts. I would have thought a lot more women would do it to make their men happy. Mind you, I know of quite a few women who don't do oral!!! :o
