Hey everyone,
Synth here.

I've been confused for quite some time as to where I stand, in relation to other people, and predominantly myself.

I've always been a rather effeminate person, which has caused much confusion with my peers in regards to my sexuality.
This, in turn, has not really helped in modelling me as a typical adolescent male. Instead, I'm left feeling like I don't "fit in" with male culture at all. Sure, I'm able to urinate whilst standing upright, but I hardly feel that that's the only thing that seperates the men from the women.
From early on, I've befriended females, and have found it difficult to associate with the male population.

I'm incredibly confused. I don't percieve myself as male, and yet I know I'm not female. Any suggestions?

All comments are appreciated.

Synth, I believe we have the same problem. In my case, I have a body of female, but I don't feel like one and neither like a male.
I don't understand why societies divide human race, because I don't belong to any gender, what I'm absolutely sure.

That's all what I can say, because I can't find enough sufficient answer on my questions. I'm confused too.

Poeple here told me that I might be bigender person, that means I don't belong to males, nor females. But it's not enough for me. That's not the answer. Or not the only one.

Thanks Ulfar, I'm glad to hear I'm not the only person feeling like this. I don't see it as a "problem", per se. More as... I've grown and been taught that society is divided into two main groups. Two groups that I don't quite feel I belong to.

My only "problem" with this is a lack of understanding. Why do I feel like this? What makes me feel that I don't belong to my physical gender? Is there a way to rectify these things, or some way to overcome this confusion?
It may be a subconscious action, whereby I alienate myself from others, but it still doesn't explain why.

Gah, I don't know what's going on.

Don't be concerned about not relating to the [majority] of the male population. I'm an open-minded, non confused, sexually secure male and have the very same problem! I think you'll find most of 'em haven't evolved past the Neanderthal stage! Image

Yes, I'd agree with you on that Sablicious :D

I'm not sure with myself though. I am constantly second-guessing myself, so who knows...
Unfortunately, it seems that those males wielding clubs and banging rocks together STILL "lead the pack".
Makes me sick...

So misogynistic AFL players with a penchant for 'glassing' and latent homosexual, 'king-hitting' NRL player piss-heads aren't your cup of tea, amirite...? :?

:P

DINGDINGDING!

I enjoy partying, although that kind of person is the main reason I don't go out of a friday night...

Granted, I'm in a fairly open city, there's a few gay bars, and HEAPS of alt/indie clubs, and the occasional once-a-month metal/industrial clubs, so I do head out every now and then.

I guess I'm not too much further up the evolutionary scale than the meatheads then. NYAAAAAAAAA *slaps face*
I need to grow up sometime soon, and stop wasting my money at nightclubs!

I find most are just 'meat markets'. And with the seeming rising rates in violence, it's becoming all the more unattractive. I grew out of it in my early 20s.
