Hi,

I've been to the IMAX in Melbourne, Australia, and it's a great experience. The screen is HUGE, and even if you're not seeing something in 3D, it's worth the extra money. 3D movies there are excellent too. The glasses you have to wear are much better than the usual flimsy bits of cardboard you used to get in other cinemas.

The seats are comfortable too. A perfect first date movie place ;)

Cheers,
Tony

I went and saw Troy at the IMAX in Auckland, New Zealand. The seats were horrible. I was squashed in the middle of a row next to some guy who was trying to me romantic with his girl friend. I felt like I was intruding. I remember the IMAX in Brisbane being the same. I don't think they were intended for longer movies.

M.

PS Sorry for rehashing an old post.
