Humans usually dont accept what they dont understand or the "different", its just human nature. Kinda sad actually. I'm raised with the idea that i should respect everyone and anything since they do their choises and i'm not perfect so i'm not the one to judge. Sadly most of my friends are so "hetero" that every time i ask them "why do u hate tgirls, homosexuals", they just CANT answer me, which is sad. With the years ive spoke with many tgirls i have many homosexual friends, but non in my country. Here in Bulgaria homosexuality is something dangerous. We have those gangs which run around and haras homosexual ppl, which is um stupid if i have to be honest. Well i whish someday ppl will grow some brain and things will go a bit normal. :)

I think, anecdotally at least, transsexuals are becoming more accepted and popular in society nowadays. More so than gay people IMO.

Whereas gay people must overcome the obviousness of the whole 'homo' aspect of their relationships, transsexuals generally (depending on how passable a TG girl / boy is) seem more 'normal' to insular types because of their 'normal-looking' appearance. I think close-minded people have a harder time accepting what looks different to them than what they're blind to.

Salacious sidebar:
Transsexual pornogrpahy is one of the highest growth genres in the industry apparently. :P

Monica, I'm a new member , but I'm an oldie as far as being out in the community. I want to take this opportunity to thank you profusely as you're comments were so Wonderfully put on the Gays being so down on us . I had to leave a church here on account of being Not Gay , but simply Transgendered .

tbirdgal That is a true shame. It is sad to say that people consider themselves as a species to be the smartest when they do such stupid things. Thankfully though, as Salacious said, it seems they are becoming more accepted.
