I think you have hit the nail on the head oztgirl. The couple of girls I have dated have been much more attentive to me than any genetic girl has ever been. And I think that is one of the qualities that I enjoy about dating girls like you.

As for you Wistin, hang in there, I'm sure you will have many dates in the future.

this is my first post and I am certain as to how to handle such a question.

What really makes a man date a transgender?

To start with, dating is such a pretty common thing to everybody and I guess anyone can date as long as there is someone who would share her time for the guy.

I have dated quite a number of guys and few of these instances I was hiding that I was not a natal girl. I was caught once but most of the time I could let it pass until 2nd day or 3rd day together. The best foundation of any relationship is friendship I believe so after knowing my real gender identity then it's up to the man to either take me as a friend or continue a relationship in the hope of being accepted fully for who I am.This is a very risky type of date as I am putting myself into either physical harm or I might just be frustrated in the end. So being totally honest was the best lesson that I have learned. I have dated some men who are aware that I am a tgirl and this type of dating scene is where I can sit comfortably, talk without the fear of sounding like a guy or can give in to a something more pleasurable activity without hesitation or fear of being caught.

Though I dont see a need to lie to guys about my gender sometimes taking the boundaries is more enjoyable--esp. if I want to know how passable I am as ts and that if I just look and act naturally. So far having a more feminine body and passable features is a big factor for straight men to finally give in to a relationship with me. I know I am not really capable of answering this question as it is addressed to men but as what i've heard from my boyfriend is that he accepted me because he cannot see a difference between me and natal girls--both in emotional and physical(not unless im naked of course  ). The emotional understanding, attachment both physical and mental sense and a great friendship will surely be a reason for a relationship.

What makes me a good date is the fact that I can make a man feel like he's with a natal woman and not really dating a tgirl. Another thing is that being able to have a good conversation added with wit, poise and the total girlfriend feeling for him is surely a plus. :)

..............
bottomline is there is nothing wrong in dating tgirls--either passable or still manly.
