Personally, having the freedom as well as equal opportunities to choose what kind of work I want to do or studies and have antidiscrimination laws to protect me as a transperson is what makes London the better place for me to be. I'm not sure Thailand would offer these kind of benefits and frankly I rather have a good job than be a beauty queen with no future or financial security...who knows maybe I am wrong... :?:

Hallo

I'm just wondering to hear your opinions.
Canada in my case.

8-) Well of course Canada, more particularly Quebec where I am from, is known to be more tolerant than other parts of the world. We also have same sex marriage.

Peoples tend to be polite here and will better accept difference here. Many have gays and lesbians in their families too so it helps I think for of the tolerance part.

We had a very bad looking mtf transgender as a customer where I work and we really made everything possible to make her feel very well welcomed to be one of our customers.

I really think Quebec must be one of the best places to live for a transgender person but I've never been to Asia... which I will do until the end of this year... yeah!

Canad is one of the best. I live here and can tell you we have no problems with accepting this issues. Hate crime against gay or lesbian or Tg are very rare to non existent. If you have discrimination problem on a job there is a special gov unit taking care of it very fast. No anti-gay protests here, only some church mumbling.
