what would you do or did when you feel lonely and bored?
easy to answer?
ok what if you have limited resources(money), all friends are busy, or perhaps your partner not around?

Heh. This one should be pretty easy since I have all of 1 1/2 friends, no partner, and VERY limited resources...
I've taken to cleaning my house. This sounds stupid, but anyone who's ever dealt with depression issues might know what an enormous feat that actually is. It has several benefits: scrubbing is a great stress reliever, you can actually see the results of your actions, and it's a good excuse to listen to *really* loud music.
Find a hobby. Limited resources and all of that, I've taken to raising fish. It's not exactly cheap, but it's not terribly expensive, either. Other hobbies include comic books (a number of which are now being carried by many libraries), cooking, writing fictional stories and non-fiction essays, learning a new language, and excersizing. If I spelled that right... pretty sure I didn't...
I know how this is going to sound, but going green actually takes an amazing amount of time. I've become a bit of a recycling nutbag and spend more time researching this than I'd care to admit. It is fascinating to learn about how what we do impacts the world around us, and making efforts at reducing that impact is equally fascinating.
Also, I read and watch a LOT of news. It's amazing how small your own problems seem in comparison with those of the larger world. It's also made me want to be more pro-active in my community and in my country. Still working on that, though. Heh. I'll let you know how that works out...
So what do you do, Lovingsoul, when you're bored out of your skull? (Check it out! I rhymed! And I didn't even mean to!)

You should make yourself busy.
Why not to learn a new skill? A new language? Or make some extra money especially if you have limited resources.

Lovingsoul: I started exercising, performing and writing. For each of us, we choose what works best. Whatever hobby you get/are/want to be passionate about will become the right one for you. Hugs, Janine

Read Jiddu Krishnamurti "On Loneliness". I did and I do not feel lonely so much as before.
